In the frame of the project the Center is going:

• to do consultation and research on economical, public affairs issues
• to provide outreach of research findings for students, non-governmental organizations and local communities in Chisinau and in countryside
• to organize collaborative scientific research and training of the public affairs specialists in order to provide economic development and the influence of new informational technologies on public policy making, in particular, in the countries of the transition period to democratic society and , first of all, in the Republic of Moldova
• to do consultation and revision of curricula in Academy of Economical Studies, Moldova State University, and other higher schools in the Republic of Moldova by collaborative groups of representatives from different universities and Ministry of education
• to conduct experience exchange among professors, specialists, administrative staff and students of universities from Moldova and other countries as the USA, Romania, the Ukraine, Russia, Bulgaria and others
• to open a computer laboratory for e-learning (the computers and teleconferencing equipment are supposed to be provided by another sponsor of the given Project, that is by Academy of Economical Studies)
• to make scientific research of information society in the technologically advanced countries and in Moldova in order to define the needs of Moldova as information society today
• to consolidate the researchers from higher schools and work out the scientific plan of practical measures to approach to the standards of the modern technologically advanced countries
• to create the working research groups on elaborating requirements to Distance Learning Courses in Moldova
• to foster Distance Learning products for making higher education more comfortable for students and working learners in various areas of Moldova and in other countries
• to implement Distance Learning courses in economics, public affairs and foreign languages in curricula
• to design interactive informational web sites with streaming video and audio programs to increase citizen awareness and participation in social life
• to prepare curricula for a Master Program in public administration and public policy with the concentration on the role of new information and communication technologies for public policy making and citizen empowerment.
